PACHAMAMA`S GREEN BLANKET ON SUMMER
AROUND LAKE TITICACA
The life around the high
plateau is green, alive and gorgeous.
It`s summer, mars 10 and
the rains continue refreshing the flora and fauna till April. There`re two
months more to see Pachamama in her green color skirt with yellow and red
spotlights.
Everything goes too fast
at this altitude on the Andean region, circa 13k feet about see level between the
Bolivian Royal and western mountain ranges in Puno Peru.
But by these months
everyone is happy around here. Andean deer,
chinchillas and vicunas have abundant grass to eat. Bushes and herbs are flowering.
And people are glad, so glad to find more
pasture for their alpacas and ship, more water for the blooming cultivations
and more.
We must take anything as
we can as possible because from May on, it`ll perish slowly and so to June end
the Altiplano will be brown, sad, cold and dead again until the next rainy
station on October end.
Freezing nights with
around -4F take away our energy reserves each night from May till August.
No regrets this is our
world, our Puno, lake Titicaca with extreme weather conditions.

this short summer-rainy season
